The Centre for Online and Blended Learning fosters collaboration with international universities, bringing invaluable experiences back to SUND. COBL and PEP partners in India, November 2023

From 14–24 November 2023, five COBL specialists visited Delhi and Vellore to run workshops on technology-supported blended learning and to record video for an open online course on cardiometabolic diseases. Over two weeks they held 16 workshops for 305 faculty and support staff, plus more than 120 undergraduate and postgraduate students, at AIIMS Delhi, the Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), and Christian Medical College Vellore (CMC).

The visit is part of the Novo Nordisk Foundation’s Partnership for Education of Health Professionals (PEP). COBL frames it as two-way: capacity-building with Indian partners, and lessons for teaching at SUND — including safer learning spaces, continuous feedback, and adapting workshops for more diverse groups of teachers.
